										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Japanese developer Atlus is well known for their brilliant JRPGs such as</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> </span><em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Persona, </span></em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">and more. The company is also known for its specific choices for platforms they release its games. Over the years, however, things have been changing, with Atlus doing multi-platform releases for most of its titles.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">To keep up with their player base requests, Atlus released a <a href="https://p-ch.jp/enquete2022/na/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">new survey</a> for North American fans, covering several topics. What is interesting to note is that the survey was released simultaneously with the <a href="https://p-ch.jp/enquete2022/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Japanese one</a>.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The survey contains several questions, letting players tell Atlus the kind of games they are interested in trying and on the platform of their choice. F</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">or example, in one question the players are asked on which platforms they want to play games like </span><em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, </span></em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">and </span><em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Etrian Odyssey </span></em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">series, whose options includes the likes of PC, current consoles, and smartphones.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Similarly, a question asks the player base if they would like to play a completely new </span><em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Persona </span></em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">game, basically Persona 6 or a </span><em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Persona </span></em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">game in a different genre, like a fighting game, simulation etc. Included in the survey are also questions on whether players want remakes for the likes of <em>Persona 2 </em>and <em>Persona 3.</em></span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">It is worth noting that the survey doesn&#8217;t confirm the company is planning to release any of the titles mentioned in it. Developers and publishers generally do these to understand the player base and their interests.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/max-payne-1-and-2-are-being-remade-as-a-single-title-by-remedy-and-rockstar">deciding to work with Rockstar Games to remake the first two <em>Max Payne </em>games</a> has easily been one of the most surprising announcements of 2022 so far. With a lot of fanfare revolving around the announcement, one may question the reason for the developer&#8217;s decision to remake the game.</p>
<p>The answer to that comes from the CEO of Remedy, Tero Virtala, in the Q&amp;A segment of Remedy&#8217;s latest investor call. During the segment, Virtala was inquired as to why Remedy took on the job of remaking one of their earliest game instead of focusing on new IP, to which he points out several good reasons, one of them being &#8220;It&#8217;s <em>May Payne</em>, it&#8217;s like a homecoming for us.&#8221;</p>
<p>Virtala explained that for the company&#8217;s growth, it is great to have various leadership teams working on different projects, and since the <em>Max Payne</em> DNA is at the roots of what the company does to this date, it is a beneficial way to experiment with the ever-changing toolsets the developer is using in their games.</p>
<p>Virtala did stress the point that even though he is happy to take on the project from a financial standpoint, it had to be the right fit for what the company is and what it does.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In celebration of <em>Alan Wake&#8217;s</em> 12th anniversary, Sam Lake, creative director of the game at Remedy Entertainment, announced that&nbsp;<em>Alan Wake Remastered, </em>last year&#8217;s upgraded version of the beloved action horror game, will be going portable. Remedy has announced that, true to <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/alan-wake-remastered-receives-esrb-rating-on-switch">prior leaks</a> and rumours, <em><a href="https://gamingbolt.com/alan-wake-remastered-review-it-was-a-beautiful-place">Alan Wake Remastered</a>, </em>which launched last year for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, will be launching for Nintendo Switch this Fall.</p>
<p>In the anniversary update video, Remedy confirmed that the game will be available for the console this Fall, and will be a digital-only release. They also mentioned that the game will run natively on the hardware, and is not a cloud version. More news will be shared about the release in the coming months, with the team excited to let Nintendo players experience the story of <em>Alan Wake </em>for the first time.</p>
<p>The news is certainly exciting for Switch owners, especially given the fact that a full-fledged survival horror sequel,&nbsp;<em><a href="https://gamingbolt.com/alan-wake-2-ilkka-villi-and-matthew-porretta-will-provide-the-appearance-and-voice-of-alan-wake-again">Alan Wake 2</a>, </em>is also currently in the works.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of 2021&#8217;s biggest games was Arkane Studios&#8217; <em><a href="https://gamingbolt.com/deathloop-review-all-you-need-is-kill">Deathloop</a>, </em>which drew widespread praise for its structure, art style, and interesting concept. Since then, the developers have been taking their time updating it in several ways, and now, they&#8217;ve released a new update that adds some interesting stuff to the game.</p>
<p>While <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/deathloop-update-2-adds-npc-improvements-fov-and-motion-blur-controls-for-ps5-and-much-more">Update 2</a> improved NPC behavior and added things such as an FoV slider, <a href="https://bethesda.net/en/article/67DfViahJxJb0lKB8LzSkL/deathloop-game-update-3-photo-mode-accessibility-options" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Update 3</a> adds some new content to the game, such as a photo mode that allows players to take beautiful shots in-game, or capture memorable pictures of takedowns, as well as a slew of accessibility features, such as letting players change subtitle colors, slowing down the game speed in single-player, adjusting the number of Reprises, new HUD options, and much more. A total of over 30 accessibility options have been added to the game.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the PlayStation 5 version of the game gets nine free profile avatars, along with global bug fixes and improvements, various localization fixes, while the PC version gets support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Announced by developer A44 back in March, <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/flintlock-the-siege-of-dawn-revealed-is-a-new-open-world-action-rpg-by-ashen-devs"><em>Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn</em></a> is an action RPG set in an open world, where players will follow the journey of the character Nor, utilizing her guns, magic, and her trusty animal companion, fighting for the fate of humanity.</p>
<p>Outside of the initial announcements and the cinematic trailer, however, the developers have been quiet about the progress of the game. Now though, they&#8217;re released the first dev diary for it, detailing their progress and revealing intriguing behind-the-scenes details.</p>
<p>In the video, Robert Bruce, the video art director, and Steven Chen, the principal environment artist, showcase the game&#8217;s world, talking about the inspiration for the designs. The developers also mention that even though the game is an open world title, it will be divided into three big zones, with each zone having a unique design and architectural style.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the developers have also given everyone a sneak peek at the gods that players will be crossing paths with, with each god having different styles and personalities, being physically huge, and, of course, being a challenge. Check out the video below.</p>
<p><em>Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn</em> will release sometime in 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It will also be available via Game Pass at launch.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>The Crew 2 </em>might not enjoy the recognition and attention that other racing games in the genre do, but it has got itself a dedicated playerbase over the years, with the developers releasing periodic updates to keep them happy and coming back for more. If you&#8217;re in that group, you can expect more content.</p>
<p>Ubisoft recently announced that <em>The Crew 2&#8217;s </em>season 5 will be getting a second free-to-play episode, titled American Legends. The second episode update will task players with exploring American folklore and discover legendary vehicles from the late 60s to the late 80s. Players will uncover hidden stories inspired by the era, traveling the country searching for hidden treasures.</p>
<p>The episode will also feature a new Motorpass, which will feature 50 tiers of new exclusive rewards, both free and premium, including vehicles like the BMW i8 Roadster Steller Edition, the Chevrolet Camaro SS Bend Edition, and more.</p>
<p><em>The Crew 2 &#8211; Season 5 Episode 2: American Legends </em>is available for all owners of the base game on <span lang="EN-US">Xbox Serie</span><span lang="EN-US">s X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation</span><span lang="EN-US">5, PlayStation</span><span lang="EN-US">4, and Stadia, and PC through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With Ubisoft&#8217;s <em>Tom Clancy&#8217;s Rainbow Six Siege </em>enjoying <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/rainbow-six-siege-receives-its-first-completely-new-map-in-three-years">its new season of content</a>, its spin-off <em>Tom Clancy&#8217;s Rainbow Six Extraction </em>is also not lagging in terms of updates, as Ubisoft has released a new update for the 3-player co-op shooter, bringing in new content and fixes.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/game/rainbow-six/extraction/news-updates/1Ifcc9lhKD6zGslntbwKfz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The May 10th update</a> adds a new Protean to the game, based on REACT operator Vigil, designed to resemble  and mimic abilities. Apart from that, a new Prestige system is being added, giving 10 extra levels to each operator for players to unlock.</p>
<p>General bug fixes, such as crosshairs changing between weapons and gadgets or abilities, primary and secondary crosshairs not appearing on the screen, and general improvements, have also been delivered, along with operator changes, such as Doc&#8217;s stim pistol now being able able to heal an operator carrying an MIA operator.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The tension between the football giant FIFA and EA is something both the companies have not been shy about hiding, with the AAA developer even <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/ea-sports-is-considering-renaming-its-fifa-series">considering changing its football series name</a>, <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/ea-is-renaming-its-fifa-series-as-ea-sports-fc-rumour">as per the rumors</a>.</p>
<p>It seems the rumors can officially be laid to rest, as EA has announced via an official article that the company and football giant FIFA will be officially ending their long-standing partnership, and that future titles will now be called <em>EA Sports FC, </em>starting in 2023.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.ea.com/news/ea-sports-fc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">As per EA,</a> everything which fans have experienced from the football series over the years will stay same, including the various game modes, teams, tournaments, clubs, etc. all thanks to the exclusive partnership between the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, the MLS, and more.</p>
<p>&#8220;Everything you love about our games will be part of <em>EA SPORTS FC</em> – the same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes will be there. Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football will all be there. Our unique licensing portfolio of more than 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues that we’ve continued to invest in for decades will still be there, uniquely in <em>EA SPORTS FC</em>. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It seems EA is not yet done with its ventures in Middle-earth, as the company has announced that it is teaming up with Middle-earth Enterprises to make a new&nbsp;<em>The</em> <em>Lord of the Rings </em>game.</p>
<p>The game, set in the Middle-earth universe, is going to be a free-to-play collectible RPG called <em>The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, </em>and is going to be &#8220;solely inspired&#8221; by Middle-earth as described in the literary works of J.R.R Tolkien, as per Fredrica Drotos, the chief brand and licensing officer of Middle-earth Enterprises.</p>
<p>The game will also feature turn-based combat, a deep collection system, and a wide roster of characters from both <em>The Lord of the Rings</em> and <em>The Hobbit</em>. The gameplay will entail battles throughout various known works of Tolkien and will feature social and competitive play.</p>
<p>EA&#8217;s vice president of mobile RPG Malachi Boyle also &#8220;a combination of high-fidelity graphics, cinematic animations, and stylized art.&#8221;</p>
<p>Developer by Capital Games,&nbsp;<em>The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth&nbsp;</em>will get a limited beta sometime this summer.</p>
