Eutechnyx, those fabulous people who brought you the free to play racing title Auto Car Revolution (check out our exclusive interview to learn tons more about it), have announced a few good updates for this January.
First, the HUD has been expanded to now include car proximity radar, personal best lap times and better navigation map. Tracks has also been updated to include brand new 3D racing lines to help aid drivers. The car friction and collision physics have also been significantly improved, so you can count on impacts and damage to be more realistic.
That of course doesn’t include the new car handling mechanics and visual improvements, including a better ghosting system to prevent griefing (that is, when a play drives in different directions or stays stationary and causes collisions with other cars). Now other players can drive right through him without worries.
Finally, the VPR range, wherein players will be matched only with racers using cars with similar specs to provide better competition. You can also view multiplayer races from all hangouts, making for a more intuitive play experience.
