Early access for Baldur’s Gate 3 has unfortunately been delayed from its initial September 30th date to October 6th. While Larian Studios continues to work on stability and localization, it released a new community update discussing romances and relationships in-game. The video discusses the unique circumstances that one’s party has gathered together.
In any other condition, they most certainly would not be working together so quite a bit of time is spent earning – or breaking – a party member’s trust. Larian touts tons of permutations that will affect the direction of a relationship so you may not necessarily enter in a relationship with someone. Sometimes, conflicts may occur between party members, or with you based on your actions.
There are tons of different outcomes (including your romance resulting in conflict) and all of it contributes to a unique experience. Eventually, the entire party will come to a head based on their opinions of one other but what that means is yet to be revealed. It’s going to be a long journey all the same.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is in development for PC and Google Stadia. The early access launch is slated to have 25 hours of content to experience. Stay tuned for more details on it in the coming weeks.
