Bandai Namco Games Will be Distributing Project CARS Worldwide

Move over Forza and GT.

Project CARS, in case you somehow did not know, is a stunningly photorealistic looking incredible racing sim game coming out later this year, by Slightly Mad Studios; until now, it has lacked a proper distributor, but that all changed today, when Bandai Namco announced that they had reached an agreement with the studio to distribute the game worldwide. Maybe now the game will actually even manage to find some success in Japan!

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Slightly Mad Studios for Project CARS,” said Chris Gilbert Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bandai Namco Games America Inc. “Combining the passion of an involved racing community with the talents of an extremely talented development team with pro-racing expertise creates an unprecedented collaborative effort to develop a true next-gen racing experience.”

“With a portfolio of prestigious, popular and iconic titles under their wing, Bandai Namco Games Inc. are the perfect partners to bring our pioneering community-driven game to players around the world,” said Ian Bell, Head of Studio, Slightly Mad Studios.

Project CARS launches in November this year on the Wii U, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
