Batman Arkham Knight Cancelled for Linux/Mac, Refunds Being Offered

Rocksteady's open world title won't be reaching these platforms after all.

Personal computer users just can’t catch a break from Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. After the Windows version of Batman: Arkham Knight was inherently bugged at launch and re-released several months later with modest improvements, the publisher has now announced the Linux and Mac versions have been cancelled.

On Steam, it was revealed that those who pre-ordered Arkham Knight on either platform could request a refund via Steam. So there’s at least that ray of sunshine.

Batman: Arkham Knight has seen a bevy of updates since its launch in June, ranging from free character outfits and Batmobile skins to paid DLC packs with other characters, new missions, Challenge Packs and much more. The Season of Infamy DLC is perhaps the most substantial since it featured four new villains to hunt down and brand new areas to explore in the process.
