Batman: Arkham Knight May Be Getting A Game of the Year Release

But where did it win Game of the Year at all?

Batman: Arkham Knight, the final installment of Warner Bros. and Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham saga, released last year, and after the incredible quality of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, it was considered to be a dramatic step down in quality.

This doesn’t just have to do with the horribly shoddy PC port of the game, either- the open world design, the shoehorning of the Batmobile into every element of the game, and the nature and style of the sidequests, all contributed to leave a distinctly sour taste in the mouths of most who played it- to say nothing of the game’s disappointing Season Pass and DLC.

But hey, it seems like somewhere, somehow, the game managed to snag itself a Game of the Year win. I say that because it appears as though Warner Bros. are on the cusp of launching a Game of the Year edition for the game, with all DLC included. Amazon Germany has listed a Game of the Year edition of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight along with a price tag of 50€, indicating an announcement and release may be on the horizon.

If it is, would you be getting this? I imagine most people who wanted to play the game have done so already, and those who didn’t were hardly waiting on a bundle with all DLC, considering just how paltry said DLC was, but hey, who knows.
