Batman: Arkham Knight on PC may not be properly fixed until September if a recent internal email to EB Games Australia from Warner Bros. (courtesy of Kotaku) is to be believed.
The retail apparently told its staff that, “We have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game. The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until spring.” Spring in Australia, of course, refers to September. EB Games has also opted to post PC stock of the game “until an acceptable solution is released” to problems.
It’s interesting if the fixes indeed do come in September because it will mark a good four months since the PC version has had such glaring issues. Warner Bros. acted quickly when it performance and graphical issues were first reported for Arkham Knight by pulling the PC version from retail. However, will it be able to recoup some of its reputation? We’ll find out in the coming months.
