Battlefield 1 Alpha Test is “Very Small, Very Exclusive”

EA explains why there was no announcement for the alpha.

Screenshots for the closed alpha for DICE’s Battlefield 1 have been making the rounds and you’re probably confused about not being able to get in, even if you’re a longtime fan of the series.

That’s because according to EA in a recent FAQ, players were randomly invited. “We’re holding a very small, very exclusive closed alpha test for Battlefield 1.

“Unfortunately, we’ve already let in everyone we need for this test and won’t be giving away access to anyone else. If you’re confused, don’t worry. You didn’t miss a registration or sign up, it’s just a very small, closed test.”

Other tests could pop up in the coming months, as has been the case for other DICE games like Star Wars Battlefront. Battlefield 1 is out on October 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC so it certainly seems possible. In the meantime, stay patient and pay attention to an leaks that may emerge in the meantime.
