Battlefield 1 New Fixes Detailed, Hardcore Mode Parameters Still Being Tweaked

This is happening.

Battlefield 1 launched surprisingly error and glitch free, and content complete, which- considering how bad DICE’s previous few games have been on that account was a pleasant surprise. That said, it’s still a massive game, so there were a few problems that slipped into the final release. Speaking on Twitter, Battlefield 1 Lead UI/UX Designer Erik Ortman confirmed that DICE is now looking into these issues.

These issues include the leaderboard glitch at the end of multiplayer games, the inability to quit once game is concluded, and the problems with medals. DICE’s Producer Ali Hassoon meanwhile confirmed that the developer is still working on the much vaunted Hardcore mode, and even shared some new details about it. He stated that damage values in Hardcore mode have been set at 140%, since that seems to provide better game balance than the previous 200%.

So, Battlefield 1 players- don’t fret, DICE has your back. They’re going to support the game with further fixes and content updates. Which, given their track record so far, should honestly have been expected.
