Battlefield 1 Operations Mode Revealed, Contains Round-Based Objective Play

DICE introduces a new mode in Battlefield 1.

Conquest and Rush will be returning to Battlefield 1 but it will feature a brand new mode called Operations mode. Think of it as a combination of Rush and Conquest – it will consist of several rounds inter-connected with a single score. Maps change at the end of each match but there will be defenders and attackers for the objectives.

DICE revealed in an update that, “We wanted to create a Battlefield experience that was not just bite-sized, but actually spanned beyond an hour of playtime. Something epic and compelling for players who wanted a chance to immerse themselves in this first global war, and capture the stories of how different battles were deeply connected to one another.”

An interesting addition will be the ability to look back on the previous map before entering the next. How will such maps work with the addition of Behemoth vehicles? The possibilities are pretty endless at this point.

Battlefield 1 will be out on October 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the game thus far?
