Battlefield 3 Beta Does not Have Jets; online stats are Saved Real Time

If you are eagerly waiting to fly one of the Jets in the beta, then we have some bad news for you. The beta will not feature Jets and this is confirmed by Community manager for DICE, Daniel Matros. “Metro doesn´t have jets,” he replied in response to a fan question.

Lack of Jets in the Beta shouldn’t be that big of a deal, as most of us should be fortunate that DICE is at least giving us an option to play the game early. Yes, it’s a bit disappointing that its one of the attractions in the game, but shouldn’t be a big issue.

For once, it wasn’t Alan Kertz that was giving us the news.  Matros also revealed that the game saves in real time, which means if you get disconnected, you will still save your stats unlike some other games out there.

“yes. saves in real time,” added Matros.

This should be good news for people who disconnect frequently and lose all that valuable experience in the multiplayer mode. We have all gone through that stage and it is extremely annoying. This wont happen in Battlefield 3 as DICE, as you know, cannot go wrong with the game, considering whatever we have heard so far.

Additionally, Alan Kertz who works in DICE also revealed that Pistols shotguns and PDWs are all kit. Are you excited by this news? Or disappointed considering there is no Jets in the beta? Tell us in the comments section below.
