The open beta for Battlefield 6 is once again available, this time for all players on all platforms. Alongside Liberation Peak, Iberian Offensive, and The Siege of Cairo, you can fight in Empire State. While infantry-only, it offers more elevation with rooftops and whatnot as players battle in Brooklyn.
Two new modes – Rush and Squad Deathmatch – are also available on top of Conquest, Conquest: Closed Weapons, Breakthrough, and Domination. Rush sees one side planting explosives and destroying M-COMs – eliminating all of them will cause the defenders to fall back to the next sector, and the process repeats.
Squad Deathmatch is more straightforward: Four squads battle it out, with the side reaching the required number of kills winning out. The beta ends on August 17th – those who complete all the challenges can earn the War Machine skin for tanks, the Striking Distance weapon package, and Bat Company dog tag for use in the full game.
Battlefield 6 launches on October 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our impressions of the beta’s first weekend here.
