Hey, you remember what Bladestorm: Nightmare is, right? I talked about it while ago, but here’s a refresher. You know how Koei makes so many action games based on Japanese history? Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Orochi, Romance of the Three Kingdoms? Well, Bladestorm: Nightmare is basically exactly that, but it’s set in European history, specifically during the Hundred Year War, meaning that western gamers actually have more of a chance of identifying with this game (and in the process of getting hooked to Musou’s unique brand of mindless, repetitive, but fun action).
So of course, it makes sense to release this game in the west, right? Well, good news. It is being released in the west. It will be launching here in 2015, on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. In Japan, it will be launching sometime later this year, although it is unclear right now whether it will the Xbox One version will be getting a launch there at all.
