Inti Creates’ Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been picked up by publisher 505 Games, as announced by creator Koji Igarashi on Kickstarter.
Igarashi had noted from the beginning of the project that the aim was to fund 10 percent of the project in order to showcase a demand. It was made clear that the project would not have reached this stage without the support of backers.
A new video from 505 Games went into more detail about the partnership with Inti Creates and how things will work for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night going forward.
The Metroidvania-esque action side-scroller has been described as a spiritual successor of sorts to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It recently saw a demo and is slated to release in 2018 (after a recent delay) for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, Mac OS X, PlayStation Vita and Linux.
