Borderlands 3 Offers In-Game Masks For COVID-Related Charity

A minimum of $5 is required to help out.

After years of waiting and anticipation, Borderlands 3 came out last year and seemingly blew the hinges off the door to become huge success for Gearbox and 2K. The game has continued to get support ever since that initial release, as well, with its newest DLC coming later this week. Now, though, it’s aiming to help out a bit with the global pandemic still ongoing through the world with some in-game masks.

On the official Gearbox Loot website, you can buy some “Antisocial Masks” in the PPE style in either green or purple. It costs a $5 minimum, but you can buy multiple masks if you want to donate more, and all proceeds will go to Direct Relief, a charity dedicated to supplying protective gear for healthcare works. You can specify whether you want a code for PS4, Xbox One or PC (the game is also on Stadia, but it doesn’t seem to be part of this), and will be presented as a SHiFT code.

Borderlands 3 is available now with the latest DLC, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption, coming June 25th.
