Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Has Less Players Than Farming Simulator on PC

Infinite failure.

It looks like Infinite Warfare may at last be the game where Call of Duty well and truly stumbles. Earlier today, we reported that the game had faltered in the UK, losing a lot of sales compared to last year’s Black Ops 3, and being the series’ least impressive debut in the region since the original Modern Warfare– it looks like that kind of general apathy to Infinite Warfare is rather universal.

Overclock3D are reporting that Infinite Warfare is having a very poor showing on the PC at the moment- the game 13,118 concurrent players on PC right now, which not only means that it is doing far worse than perennial Steam Concurrency Chart toppers such as DOTA 2, CS:GO, Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Skyrim, and GTA 5, but that even games like Farming Simulator 17 is currently outdoing it. That’s right, Farming Simulator 17  has more players right now than Infinite Warfare does on PC.

If this is the kind of performance Infinite Warfare will put forth in all markets of the world, across all platforms, then Activision may finally have had their Assassin’s Creed Unity moment, here- hopefully, like Ubisoft, they take a break from releasing more games in the series, and take some time to regroup.
