Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Sony Details PS4 and PS4 Pro Bundles

Marketing for the shooter continues to ramp up.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be making most of its post-launch content available across all platforms simultaneously, unlike its predecessors, while cross-play is also feature for the first time for this series, but Activision’s exclusive marketing deal for the franchise with Sony is still very much in place. Spec Ops’ Survival mode, for instance, will be exclusive to the PS4 for year (attracting some amount of controversy), while as per usual, people will also be able to buy special PS4 bundles of the game.

Sony recently detailed two PS4 bundles for the upcoming first person shooter on the official PlayStation blog. There will be a base PS4 bundle and a PS4 Pro bundle. Both of them will come with a 1 TB jet black console, a DualShock 4 controller, and a physical copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Based on the regions of availability that Sony have listed at the bottom of their post, it doesn’t seem like either bundle will be available in the US. Meanwhile, in the UK, the base PS4 bundle will come with a 500 GB console instead of a 1 TB SKU.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25. Check out its recently released launch trailer through here.
