Call of Duty: World War 2 PC Beta Supports 4K Resolution and Ultrawide Displays

Expect the beta to be tuned to PC's strengths.

Call of Duty: World War 2 is one of the most anticipated Call of Duty games in year- which will happen when the franchise, long having lost a fair few fans due to the science fiction inspired future warfare setting it took over the last few games, returns to its World War 2 roots.

This means that there are many on all platforms who are probably eager to get their hands on the game to try it out for themselves. While PS4 owners have already had that chance, PC owners get it soon. And when they do, they will find a beta that is extremely optimized for all the benefits PC offers them.

This includes support for  4K and ultra-wide resolutions, as well as extremely high frame rates, going up to 250 FPS. The beta will additionally feature an FOV slider, as well as controller support. The final game will apparently include support for HDR displays too, but that feature has not made it into the beta. The beta will also lack aim assist, as the developers want to try and fine tune the keyboard and mouse controls.

Call of Duty: World War 2 is due out this November, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
