Sledgehammer Games has revealed a new map and mode for Call of Duty: WW2. The mode might be familiar to those who played Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Uplink mode because it’s pretty much the same thing. Named Gridiron, it sees players carrying a leather football across the field and attempting to score. Naturally, the opposing team tries to stop them.
Along with the new mode, there’s a new map it can be played on. Set in London during the war, the map is rumoured to be called London Docks. There isn’t much other information about it with regards to size, sightlines and so on but more variety is always a good thing.
Thus far Call of Duty: WW2 has showcased a bunch of new content with the new objective-based War mode, the Zombies campaign that takes a more gruesome, down to earth approach to the mode and the social space where players can interact. Another new map Carentan was revealed last week but that’s exclusive to those who purchase the Season Pass.
Call of Duty: WW2 is out on November 3rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
