Sledgehammer Games’ first DLC for Call of Duty: WW2 titled “The Resistance” is releasing today for PS4 players first. To celebrate the occasion, Activision has released a new live-action trailer for the DLC. It’s fairly comedic despite all the operating under darkness and whatnot. Check it out below.
The Resistance features three new multiplayer maps – Anthropoid, Occupation and Valkyrie – all based on the French resistance to Nazi occupation in World War 2. There’s also a new War Mode map called Operation Intercept. In this mission, players must rescue Resistance fighters on a train. This involves setting them free, destroying comms equipment and then halting the train altogether. If that weren’t enough, there’s a new Zombies chapter called The Darkest Shore to experience.
Call of Duty: WW2 – The Resistance will be available for Xbox One and PS4 roughly a month after its PS4 release. It’s priced at $14.99 standalone but is also included with the $60 Season Pass which also features three additional DLC packs coming in the future.
