Michael Condrey, co-founder and boss of Sledgehammer Games, has given some new details on the multiplayer mode of the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII, including updates on weapon skills, score streaks and more. For those of you who’re familiar with the multiplayer of the series, there’s some interesting stuff here. For those of you who aren’t… well, this may all sound like gibberish to you.
Firstly, Condrey has confirmed that division weapon skills will only apply to the weapons from the division in which you are enlisted- which seems quite obvious, really, but there’s been some confusion about this apparently. Using Condrey’s own example, if you’re in the Infantry division, only rifles will have bayonets.
Secondly, Condrey also gave a few “pro tips” on his Twitter, saying that if an enemy calls in paratroopers, you can turn the tides in your favour by shooting their parachutes. Condrey also confirmed that the health and skill levels of the paratroopers were still being tuned, while also saying that Sledgehammer were also “looking at the score streak cost.”
Call of Duty: WWII launches later this year for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
