This November, Microsoft will completely overhaul the Xbox One UI when they release the first new Xbox Experience for the console. The New Xbox Experience will be powered by Windows 10, and promises to significantly overhaul the user experience, addressing longstanding complaints about the Xbox One OS, and also addressing ease of use and streamlining. The New Xbox Experience is currently available to Xbox live members part of the Preview Program on Xbox One.
In this new video that you can see for yourself below, Larry Hryb sits down with Richard Irving on the Xbox engineering team to discuss the first preview of the New Xbox One experience for the Preview Program. They run through some of the salient features of the update, while also talking more in depth about what else is coming, as well as what has been moved or removed from the current setup (of which, the Live Window on the home screen seems to be the biggest casualty).
