Convince Your Friend To Buy Xbox One, Get EA Access Free for a Year

It's an interesting deal.

Microsoft is coming up with some truly unique ways to try and sell the Xbox One this generation. These range from the traditional, such as price cuts, bundles, and securing exclusives, to the less conventional, such as this, their newest initiative- if you refer a friend to buy an Xbox One, you can land yourself a year’s subscription to EA Access, EA’s online service for Xbox Live users that gives early and a la carte access to their games for a fixed fee, for free.

It’s not a promotion available to everyone – you need to have gotten the email from Microsoft informing you of it – and your friend will get free EA Access as well. But it is available only in the UK, the Xbox One console in question must be bought from the Microsoft Store, and the offer is only valid on a £314.99 bundle containing a black 500GB Xbox One, 3-month membership to Xbox Live and a copy of Forza Horizon 2.

It’s a good deal, but hopefully they make it more widely available, and with less caveats.
