Crimson Dragon Developer Talks Smartphone Interest, Working With Microsoft

Panzer Dragoon creator Yukio Futatsugi also keen to work with Nintendo again.

Despite being out of the spotlight since releasing Panzer Dragoon Orta, Crimson Dragon developer Grounding has been happy working with Microsoft. Panzer Dragoon creator Yukio Futatsugi spoke to Siliconera during the Tokyo Game Show about also working with smartphones and how he’s interested in working with Nintendo again.

“My personal interest is in smartphones. They’re gradually becoming capable of having visuals like this. We’ve worked on a number of mobile games so far, and I’m really interested in using the network aspect to make a more interesting game. Perhaps we’ll work with Nintendo again, since we have a good relationship with them…and naturally, Microsoft has been great to us. We want to do a lot of different things, so I guess we’re kind of a greedy company.”

Crimson Dragon will be launching on the Xbox One when the console releases worldwide on November 22nd. It will be heading to Japan in early 2014.
