After quite some time teasing, it was finally revealed that Crysis would be getting the remastered treatment for modern systems. The game was something of a legend during its time, largely for its technical level that pushed high-end PCs to their limit and had to be dumbed down significantly for console release. Whether the remastering will do that aspect justice remains to be seen, but we’ll get a taste of his soon.
Developer Crytek announced that the game will get its first gameplay reveal at the beginning of next month. It’s not stated how long it will be, but as you can see below, the YouTube video is already live with a timer.
Crysis Remastered has been confirmed to come for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, and it’s also been confirmed that it will not include the Warhead expansion. The gameplay trailer will go live on July 1st.
