Cult of the Lamb Local Co-op Update is Live, Adds New Follower Traits, Relics, and More

It also adds a new transmog system, Fleeces, Nursery, Knucklebones building to battle against Followers, and much more for free.

Massive Monster’s latest free content update for Cult of the Lamb is out now, adding a local two-player co-op mode. While one player assumes the role of the Lamb, the other can play as the Goat. Together, they can tackle enemies, manage their settlements, and fish. Of course, you can also play as the Goat while solo.

However, that’s not all, as the latest trailer showcases. There are 21 new Follower traits, including the Poet (who pens lines with every boss defeated) and Cursed (resurrected from the dead). The Jerk is also less annoying and can be cured through either affection or bullying.

Other features include a Nursery, a Knucklebones building to play against Followers, and new Fleeces (including a Cowboy Fleece for starting runs with the Blunderbuss). There are also new Relics with Blessed and Damned variants and even co-op exclusive Relics.

Cult of the Lamb is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It’s sold 3.5 million copies as of January 2024.
