While Dark Souls 3 is out in Japan, it’s not yet available in the United States or Europe. While we sit and wait and read reviews that tell us the game is quite good, there are few bright spots at the end of the tunnel that we can hang our hats on. One of those bright spots is that there actually is a way to get the game in North America and UK, as long as you want to take the long way around.
Another bright spot is that according to the PlayStation Store listing, the game’s download size is a mere 17.3GB. That’s quite the difference from games of this magnitude which tend to be closer to 50GB, especially when you’re talking about downloading the entire game, instead of purchasing a disc and then going through a smaller installation download.
In reality, the title’s download size seems almost too good to be true. If you’re anything like us, you’ve long since started to delete older games you still haven’t finished in order to make room for newer games like this one. Dark Souls 3 is due out on the Xbox One, PC and PS4 in North America and UK on April 12. Before you purchase, check out our pretty positive review of the game.
