From Software’s Dark Souls 3 has been dated in Japan. It will be out on March 24th 2016 and will release for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version hasn’t been dated for the country but From Software has promised information on a release date for the West in the coming days.
Dark Souls games tend to release very close to each other – for instance, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin was out in February 2015 for Japan while other countries got it in April for current and previous gen consoles. It wouldn’t be remiss for publisher Namco Bandai to release the game for all countries in March.
Japanese pre-orders for Dark Souls 3 begin on October 7th and bonuses include a map and soundtrack. They’re available for as long as supplies last so be prepared to pre-order in October.
