Dark Souls 3 Servers on PC Have Gone Offline Again

Dark Souls 3 on PC has had its multiplayer servers taken down once again after several reports of players being unable to connect.

Less than a month since bringing the Dark Souls 3 PC multiplayer servers back online, players are reporting that the game’s servers have gone down once again. After player complaints popped up on the game’s Steam forums, FromSoftware itself also took to Twitter, confirming the server problems.

“At this time, there is a confirmed issue with DARK SOULS III online play via the Steam platform,” says the tweet on the official Dark Souls Twitter account. “We are investigating the source of the problemm and will inform you as soon as more details become available.”

At the time of publishing, Dark Souls 3‘s multiplayer servers on PC are still disabled, and FromSoftware has yet to make any statements to follow up its original acknowledgement of the problem.

Dark Souls 3‘s servers were taken down earlier this year following reports of issues with the server infrastructure. Dark Souls 3‘s multiplayer had a vulnerability that allowed for the execution of malicious code through the game on the computers of unwitting players.
