Dark Souls Remastered Confirmed for Nintendo Switch, Releasing on May 25th

Features an improved resolution and frame rate along with DLC.

After a spell of rumours, the latest Nintendo mini-Direct confirmed that Dark Souls: Remastered will indeed be releasing for the Nintendo Switch on May 25th. It will include the base game and Artorias of the Abyss DLC. Veterans can also expect a better frame rate and resolution from the original release.

There are several firsts being achieved here – the first Dark Souls game on a Nintendo platform, the first Souls game to be playable on the go and of course, a remaster of the original release after years of requests.

If you don’t own a Nintendo Switch, then don’t worry – Dark Souls: Remastered will also be coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 25th. Those who waited for the original Prepare to Die Edition to be discounted on Steam can now take solace in having saved money.

There are tons of other announcements coming out of this mini-Direct, especially relating to Super Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and more so stay tuned for additional updates.
