Daymare: 1998 is a throwback to the old school Resident Evil series in its setting (maybe just little too much of a throwback for its own good), with a modern twist in the gameplay. The game has been on PC for quite some time, but now console users will be able to get in on the action soon.
As announced with a trailer, which you can see below as uploaded via Gemastu, the game will release for both PS4 and Xbox One in April, which is coincidentally (or maybe not so coincidentally) the same month as the next Resident Evil game. The PS4 version of the game will even get a physical release which will be distributed by GS2 Games.
Daymare: 1998 is available now on PC. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will come on April 28th. You can check out our interview with the game’s developers for more on the survival horror tribute through here.
