Dead Rising 3: Operation Eagle DLC Delayed Till January 21st

The first DLC has been delayed for "extra polishing".

Dead Rising 3: Operation Eagle was to be the first major DLC for Xbox One exclusive, but it’s been delayed till January 21st 2014 in the interest of extra polishing. It was originally due to release on December 24th. The DLC was to add a new playable character – Spec Ops Commander Adam Kane – along with new weapons and a new vehicle. Kane’s mission in the game is to locate the President of the United States.

A representative for Microsoft stated that, “Adding new content to the massive open world of Los Perdidos is a major undertaking, and to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players, we are putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing into the episode before it’s released. Stay tuned for additional updates.”

Operation Eagle will retail for $10, and is also part of the Season Pass for the game, which costs $30. What are your thoughts on the delay? Let us know in the comments below.
