Just a couple days back, Hideo Kojima teased that we might be seeing something new related to his upcoming Death Stranding within the next month or two. We latched on to that hope with great expectations, because every new morsel of information on Death Stranding feels like a treasure, and because there haven’t been given a lot of morsels for the last few months.
Now, an image uploaded by Kojima on his Twitter page might be teasing a new trailer again. It’s just an image of his workbench, with the Death Stranding logo being displayed on his screen- but it clearly shows that he’s in the middle of editing a video, complete with a timeline on another screen and what have you.
It might not be much, but where Kojima is concerned, every tease feels like a confirmation (which it isn’t). It does give us more hope though that there will be a new trailer for the game in the near future.
In related news, Kojima also recently spoke of the game’s open world nature, and what new things it’s going to bring to the genre. Read more on that through here. Death Stranding is due out for the PS4, but release date hasn’t yet been announced- recent speculation has pegged it for a cross-generation release on the PS5 as well.
