Capcom’s Deep Down remains one of the more interesting PS4 exclusives, showcasing the power of the company’s new Panta Rhei engine. Though details for the Japanese version have been known for a while – save a release date – Capcom has trademarked the game for North America as well.
In a recent filing submitted in July but only published on December 17th 2013. This doesn’t mean that it will be coming out any time – though the Japanese release is expected to happen shortly after the PS4’s launch in Japan – but it’s certainly something to look out for.
Deep Down will certainly bring a unique online RPG experience to the console, but will it be able to contend with the likes of The Elder Scrolls Online or even single-player games such as Dark Souls 2?
