Destruction AllStars Will Cost $19.99, Future Content Outlined

The vehicular combat title will cost $50 less than initially planned.

Lucid Games’ Destruction AllStars launched earlier this month for PlayStation Plus and has seen its share of mixed reactions. The development team has outlined new content for the coming months while also announcing a release date for digital purchases. The vehicular combat title will be available on April 6th for $19.99, a huge drop from its initial $70 asking price.

In terms of new content, Double XP Weekend goes live in the coming days along with the Challenge Series for Genesis. March will see Featured Playlists added to the game like Mayhem 8v8 and Stockpile 4v4. This is in addition to Double XP Weekends, 10 new skins and Bluefang’s Challenge Series.

In April, Carnado Solo will be the Featured Playlist. Aside from more Double XP Weekends, the developer teases “a few more surprises.” Perhaps we’ll see the launch of a new AllStar or Arena? It would certainly make sense to help incentivize players to purchase the game. More details on regular content updates will be provided en route to the game’s release so stay tuned.
