Diablo Immortal is Getting a Boss Rush Mode in Latest Update

The next major update for Diablo Immortal, coming this week, is bringing a new boss rush game mode to the free-to-play title.

Blizzard has announced that the next update for Diablo Immortal will bring with it a new boss rush game mode that will pit players against raid bosses back-to-back, with the top performers winning exclusive rewards. The update will be available for Diablo Immortal on May 9 or May 10, depending on where you live.

As part of the new game mode, 10 players who are able to complete the boss rush the fastest every week will get temporary access to an exclusive avatar frame. Players who are able to hold on to their top-10 spot throughout the season will get to keep the frame permanently.

Other features of the update are balance changes, with ranged classes getting 15% damage resistance, and adjustments to the Accursed Towers game mode. The Fractured Plane event is also coming back, allowing players to revisit the event’s game mode.

Blizzard is slated to host livestream for Diablo 4 on May 10, where the studio will talk about the game’s seasons, the battle pass, and cosmetics, and how they will all work.
