Arkane Studios’ Dishonored 2 is a game about choices. You can choose your protagonist – either Emily or Corvo – and essentially complete missions however you wish. And that allows for various playstyles like completing the entire game without killing anyone.
Speaking to PlayStation Access, creative director Harvey Smith noted the no-kill playstyle that was also in the previous game and how each level acting as a “mini-open world” allows for those kinds of choices. Players will have complete freedom over the powers that Emily and Corvo wield.
Alternatively, it’s possible to take a no-powers approach and complete the game without killing or alerting anyone. That too on the highest possible difficulty, which won’t be easy but should be satisfying as hell for some players.
Dishonored 2 is out on November 11th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on its gameplay thus far? Let us know in the comments below.
