Arkane Studios’ Dishonored 2 is one of the bigger releases you should be paying attention to this month and the developer recently revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for PC users. If that weren’t enough, it also detailed some of the more advanced visual settings that PC players can expect.
The minimum system requirements include an Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320 or better, 8 GB RAM and an Nvidia GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better. The recommended system requirements include an Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD FX-8350 or better, 16 GB RAM and an Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB or better. Regardless of your hardware, 60 GB of installation space is required along with Steam activation. That means additional files have to be downloaded in order to run the game.
Advanced visual settings include Adaptive Resolution, Texture Details, Models Details, Environmental Details, Anti-aliasing, Rat Shadows, Bloodfly Shadows, Water Quality, Shadow Quality, View Distance, Video Card Selection, Field of Vision and a bevy of Nvidia specific settings like HBAO+, TXAA and Ansel. The game can be pre-loaded on PC starting on Novembevr 8th – it will release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 11th.
