Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 still doesn’t have a release date, which is a bummer considering it’s a sequel to the critically acclaimed RPG from 2014. However, there will be some effort to make it available to consumers on September 15th but through Early Access.
The developer has revealed that Divinity: Original Sin 2 can be purchased for $45 on Steam and GOG with an early part of the campaign and competitive online multiplayer via Arena to try out. It’s unclear at this point whether Kickstarter backers will be receiving Early Access as part of their backing.
Besides being a follow-up to one of the best RPGs of the past several years, Divinity: Original Sin 2 will include adaptive music, four player co-op, a fairly robust multiplayer mode and improved dialogue mechanics.
