DOOM Eternal released last month, and from what we know so far the sequel has been quite the hit. Most of the talk is around the game’s fantastic and frantic single player that sees the Doom Slayer take down many hordes of demons in the most violent of fashions. But the game does have a pretty unique and fun multiplayer in Battlemode, and today it got a little bit of polish.
In a new update, it seems they’ve given a slight advantage to the Slayer, who some players were struggling to get the upper hand up with. Things like reducing the strength of healing zones as well as reducing damage and increasing cooldowns of demon abilities. Interestingly, the update is only for console versions, it seems the PC version is working as intended. You can see the full list of minor tweaks thorough here.
DOOM Eternal is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC with a Switch version coming soon. The console update is live now across the PS4 and Xbox One. You can read our full review of the game through here.
