Soon, Nintendo Switch owners will be able to get their hands on one of the best JRPGs of this generation, when Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition launches for Nintendo’s system, and to drive up the excitement surrounding its release, Square Enix have put out a new trailer of the game.
The trailer focuses on introducing two characters from the game’s core cast- Erik, the thief who joins the Luminary as the game’s first party member, and travelling entertainer Sylvando, who’s taken it upon himself to spread joy to all corners of the world. The latter especially became a fan-favourite when Dragon Quest 11 first launched, and both characters are in line to see even more of the spotlight, with Dragon Quest 11 S featuring exclusive character-specific stories for all party members. Dragon Quest 11 S is out for the Nintendo Switch tomorrow, on September 27. Before that, later today, Square Enix will be livestreaming the game for about four hours. Recently the developers also said that the game’s Switch version is closer to being remake than just a simple port- read more on that through here.
