EA DICE “Currently Investigating” Latency Issues In Star Wars Battlefront 2

Many players have reported experiencing lag on game servers and hopefully EA DICE will be able to fix the issue soon.

After the whole controversy surrounding loot boxes and microtransactions, it seems that some minor difficulties continue for EA DICE with regards to this game as s significant portion of Star Wars Battlefront 2’s community have reported experiencing lag when playing the game. However, DICE have stated that they’re aware of the problem and that they’re looking to fix the issue.

Community specialist Thomas Detaevernier stated on the official forum that, “We are aware of the issues that lead players to experience latencies on the game servers. We are currently investigating and will update you as soon as we have more info.” Latency can be game-breaking for many and especially for a first-person shooter such as this one. Hopefully, the issue gets fixed soon  enough and players can go back to enjoying the game without experiencing latency issues.

The gaming community is still waiting to see how the loot boxes will be making a return in this game and whether these will effect cosmetic changes only. For now though, EA DICE seems to have their hands full with the latency issues.
