Paul Rustchynsky, the game director of Motorstorm RC had a lot to say about the Vita and PS3 in an interview with OPM. He said that the PS3 had a lot of legs left in it and shouldn’t be counted out.
The PS3 is almost 6 years old now, and there are very few games on the horizon. But that can change, considering Sony has a lot of first-party studios.
“I think the PS3 has a lot of legs left in it yet. I don’t think people should dismiss it right now. There are so many exclusive developers working for Sony right now, making really exciting games and I don’t many of those have been announced yet,” he said.
He reiterated that people shouldn’t give up on the PS3, just like the PS2 got technically proficient games at the end of its lifecycle. He also gave an example of The Last of Us from Naughty Dog to show that PS3 is still alive and kicking.
“I think The Last Of Us, when they announced that trailer was all in engine, I think people were wowed by that and rightly so. Those guys are incredibly talented,” he revealed.
