Over the last month, quite a bit of the marketing campaign for Fallout 4 has come in the form of the rather old school looking cartoon videos meant to explain to players how their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. works. Earlier this week, that officially changed as Bethesda released a new live action trailer in order to get people hyped up for the impending release of the game in just over a month.
The new trailer doesn’t show off anything really new, but instead gives a fresh look at what we’ve already seen in gameplay trailers of Fallout 4. We get to see a crisper and more lifelike version of the main character, as well as his trusty dog. We also get a glimpse at the robot, which could be used as a companion throughout the game. We also get to see the town get wiped out back when the bombs fell and then actually see the main character emerge from his “vault” and start checking out what has been left over.
The entire video is set to the song “the wanderer” which, we have to admit could not have been a more perfect pairing. This video was clearly meant to get people plenty hyped, considering it didn’t reveal anything, but goosebumps ran up our arms just the same when the main character stepped into his suit and started tromping down the path to the great unknown. Checkout the video below, then wait patiently until Fallout 4 is available on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 10, 2015.
