Fallout 4 Won’t Have Platform Exclusive DLC

Bethesda isn't doing any platform exclusive DLC deals for Fallout 4.

Bethesda Softworks may have brought Fallout 3 to Xbox One for those who pre-ordered Fallout 4 and promised mods on the console first but it won’t be offering platform exclusive DLC for the same.

When asked on Twitter whether DLC for the open world title would be out on Xbox One first or for all platforms simultaneously, Bethesda’s Pete Hines stated, “We aren’t doing a DLC exclusive with anyone.”

Of course, there’s another reason that Fallout 4 DLC could have possibly arrived on Xbox first. All DLC packs for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim hit the Xbox 360 first way before PS3.

Fallout 4’s DLC will be part of a $40 Season Pass but the developer is also keen to listening to feedback and adding whatever fans feel would work in the game. Besides this, the game’s Creation Kit for mods will be out in early 2016.

Fallout 4 releases on November 10th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
