Unlike the PC version which currently has its mods and Creation Kit in open beta, Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout 4 will have a beta for when its mods arrive on Xbox One.
Registration for the beta is currently open and you can register for the same here. A Bethesda account will be needed along with your Xbox Live Gamertag. Mods for the Xbox One will be going live after Far Harbor releases on May 19th, though Bethesda hasn’t confirmed when exactly they’ll be going live.
The PlayStation 4 beta for mods, which will be out in June, will likely be open for registration after the Xbox One version. When exactly the PS4’s mods will release remains to be seen.
Far Harbor will bring a brand new region to Fallout 4 and will apparently rival the size of Oblivion’s Shivering Isles expansion. Along with new quests, new enemies and new factions like the Children of Atom to deal with, there will be quite a lot to do. What are your thoughts on the mods? Let us know in the comments.
