Fallout New Orleans Trademark Discovered on EUIPO

Possible, New Vegas-like spin-off in the works?

Nuka World, Bethesda Softworks’ final story DLC for Fallout 4, will be arriving by August end but the developer could have even more Fallout content in the pipeline. According to a trademark registered at European Intellectual Property Office, Fallout New Orleans is apparently a thing.

There’s not much more information to be had other than the trademark being registered this month and encompassing “Computer software; Video games software”. But it does appear to follow the route Bethesda took with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas with the latter using the same engine as the former but set in a completely new area with new characters and such.

Does that mean Obsidian is potentially making a comeback to work on Fallout New Orleans? It’s hard to say, especially considering the developer has plenty on its plate already.
