Ubisoft’s Marketing & Sales VP Tony Key is excited to share new details on the next entry in the franchise series in the near future. This is what he had to say regarding the success of Far Cry 3 and the future of the brand.
“We’re totally psyched from [Far Cry 3],” said Key. “It’s a great brand, and now it’s got the recognition it deserves, so we’re clearly going to make another one: more on that soon,” he added.
It’s not a real surprise that a new Far Cry 4 is already planned or possibly in works for the next-generation consoles. All the big companies have already moved on to next-generation projects. Far Cry 3 was a success and the Blood Dragon downloadable expansion was also well received by many consumers and journalists.
