FIFA 16 has overhauled some of its very core and fundamental mechanics, such as passing. And while a whole lot of players have taken to the new techniques, praising them as superior to how they have been so far, a lot of veteran players seem to be upset at the changes, and they’re making sure they are heard- you can see the issue brought up in threads on the FIFA subreddit and the FIFA forum.
The problem here is that there is no problem. EA Sports have (wisely) changed a lot of the underlying mechanics of the FIFA games, and we have a better simulation of the sport as a result. The issue? Techniques and playstyles that worked well in FIFA 15 do not translate as well into FIFA 16. Players have to learn new ways to play, all over again. And that isn’t going down well with them, as you may imagine.
Hopefully everyone comes around on this.
