FIFA 20 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons Swap Places on Top of UK Charts Again

EA's sport sim reclaims the top spot once again.

Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons and EA Sports’ FIFA 20 have swapped places at the top end of the UK charts for last week’s boxed video game sales once again. After Animal Crossing took the top spot from FIFA 20 last week, the two have swapped place once more, with the latter climbing on top of the charts (via GamesIndustry).

In third place is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which, as opposed to the two games above it, enjoyed a week-over-week sales increase- of 36 per cent, to be precise. Meanwhile, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in fourth place also enjoyed a significant boost of 96 per cent, jumping up three places. Grand Theft Auto 5, meanwhile, saw a 52 per cent increase in sales from last week.

The rest of the top 10 is about what you’d expect. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Final Fantasy 7 Remake in sixth and eighth place respectively have retained their positions from last week. The rest of the top 10 is occupied by Luigi’s Mansion 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Forza Horizon 4.
